REVIEW : Excellent car. Drove Bangalore-Goa and back. Could easily touch 140 kmph. Value for money... really!Excellent Highway cruiser,Powerful engine which can shame many petrol cars in its class as far the speed and torque is concerned. Easy on maintenance Real value for money . Dont go along the presence and design of this car. Its a different ownership experience once you are in the driver seat.you will enjoy every moment of it.

REVIEW : Tank of a car.
I drove Pune to Bangalore - 13 hrs flat, first stop at 753KM mark after 8 hrs, and then home. Excellent power, ABS works great. Hold the brakes steady, do not pump. Chill AC, excellent road grip.
Milage with AC 18.8 without AC 21 odd.
This is a Limited Edition Elantra 2.0 CRDI, loaded car.
If you are planning - go ahead, I have done very extensive research on this car.
This is the xerox car you get in US. Even the stickers are same.

REVIEW : Surely..... the best value for money car.. just lack some marketing puch from hyundai....
Easily outstrips corolla's and Skoda's in performance. Ideally Skoda and Corolla shd be priced around this, like they are in the overseas market... here, though the hype of Indian mindset lets them drive a premium and we stupid Indians, happily pay for it.
Folks, Have 8L.... go for Elantra.... never regret... save minimum 3L and also never worry on after sales service... Hyundai dont cost a BOMB...
Cheers !!

REVIEW : Hi ,
I bought an Elantra GLS Petrol in August 2005. It is a very good car high on luxury and performance. I have driven it 4000Kms by now. The performance is too good on highways. Taken it to Jaipur from Delhi and was driving at 150-160 km/hr without any turbulences. The only feeling of speed was zipping past the other cars like a train. It is fuel efficient. I am getting 12Km/L in city now. First two months it gave 9-10Km/L. On the highway it gave 16km/L at speeds of 70-100kms. However at high speeds it was low. On the round trip including Delhi Jaipur city driving, I got an average of 14Km/L. The stereo with 8 CD changer is superb in performance, but doesn't play mp3s. There was no need for any accessories as all of them including the floor mat came free with the car. The anti glare inside rear view mirror in very useful. The display shows how many kms and left for next petrol filling, by which you can make out the mileage that you are getting. High ground clearance allow you to take on any uneven roads. I compared Corolla and Octavia before buying this car and found that at this has got many more features at a lower price. ABS, Traction control, alloy wheel, automatic climate control, adjustable steering airbags, immobiliser, door lamp; you name what, all are there. Also Hyundai's 4 year warranty and service network all over India are deciding factors.
The only negative I can think of is the way it rides the humps. On the bigger bumps at speeds above 30kms it feels like a 50kg sand bag kept in the boot goes up 10cms and fall back with a thud. I brought it to the notice at the service center, they say it is normal, which I am not very pleased with.
